Mr. Gerald L. Heath was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on June 9, 1958, and was the son of the late Charles Richard Heath and Florence (McAnelly) Heath who survives.

 

Mr. Heath spent his life in Lebanon until 2005 when he and his wife moved to Hillsboro where they have operated the Charlarose Campground.  He was a 1976 graduate of Lebanon High School.

 

In Lebanon, he was married on August 8, 1984, to Jane Ann (Quick) Heath.  Mrs. Heath survives.

 

For thirty years Gerald was employed in Indianapolis at Precision Rings where he was an engineer.  In addition, for ten years he served Boone County as a reserve Boone County Deputy Sheriff. 

 

His biggest passion being his family, Gerald enjoyed his home and family activities.   Gerald was a proud father and grandfather who reveled in his children and grandchildren.  Various activities of interest to him included fishing, playing pool, gambling, and motorcycle riding.  He was a gun activist and enjoyed shooting. His beloved dog, Duke, was his faithful companion.
